Coffee + Vanilla Beans = One fantastic, roasty porter. Vanilla Java Porters have been all the rage this winter here at the shop. The sweetness of the vanilla bean goes perfectly with the slight bitterness from the roasted malts and coffee. This is an “easy” kit. The coffee and vanilla bean are added in secondary….very similar to dry hopping.
